Not only can you enjoy the magnificent Gallery, dining and drink on offer, you can also make the experience last by staying with us at the Lime Tree. In any of our nine individual and very comfortable bedrooms, you will be able to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful stay. Most of our rooms have impressive open views of the sea and the hill beyond. Each room is individually styled and furnished to the highest standard, designed to make your stay even more comfortable and enjoyable.
The Lonely Planet Guide said of the Lime Tree
‘All its stylish, comfortable rooms are decorated with high quality paintings, drawings and watercolours of the Highland landscapes. The gallery downstairs sells some of this work. And if that is not enough to convince you, their breakfast is easily the best in town, if not Scotland'.
The Old part of the building was built in 1850 by the Church of Scotland - The rooms in the old building are typical Victorian with high corniced ceilings. The new rooms are more modern with a rustic style using Oak and Cedar
All rooms are ensuite.
Our reception desk is manned from 7.30am to 11.00pm. Outwith this period our Duty Manager and Night Porter are on site and easilly contactable if you need assistance
Dogs are welcome but conditions apply.
